Your Communities

About UAL for all

Welcome to ual: for all

You may have heard the phrase, "Unity in diversity," which means celebrating our differences while finding common ground. That’s exactly what we do here!

We are a welcoming group for all UAL students, no matter your background. Every voice matters, and together we can create something amazing.

Our community is made up of many cultures and perspectives, and this diversity helps us think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to the challenges we face.

UAL is known for its strong focus on art and creativity, and we’re lucky to have so much talent within our community. It’s not just about honing our skills; it’s also about sharing our knowledge and creativity with those beyond the university.

Through teamwork, we aim to connect UAL students with local communities that need support. We organise design projects, host workshops, and run outreach activities to make a positive impact.

Ultimately, we want to create a space where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. If you’re passionate about making a difference and celebrating diversity, we’d love for you to join us on this exciting journey to bring about positive change!

What we do

At UAL for All, we are committed to using creativity as a tool for positive change. Each term, we focus on raising funds, hosting engaging workshops, and organising activities and events in collaboration with local communities and charity organisations throughout London. Our mission is to create spaces where learning and creativity come together, offering everyone the chance to grow and have fun through design and artistic expression.

We are proud to have partnered with the following charities: British Red Cross | The Children's Society | Young Roots | CARAS | Baytree Centre | Coram | Babylon Migrant Project

Through these collaborations, we’ve been able to support various causes, from helping refugees and vulnerable youth to working with women’s empowerment groups. By joining forces with these organisations, we use our creativity to directly impact lives and build lasting connections between UAL students and the wider community.

But we can’t do this alone! We need passionate students like you to get involved. Whether you’re a designer, an artist, or just someone eager to help, your expertise can bring a fresh, creative perspective to our workshops and projects. Volunteering with ual: for all not only allows you to contribute to meaningful causes, but it’s also a great opportunity for personal growth.

By participating, you can develop valuable leadership skills, enhance your ability to work with different people, and expand your creativity—all while helping others and making a difference in the community. It’s a chance to apply your artistic talents in real-world contexts and see how design can drive social change.
